The laser beam efficiently penetrates high optical densities for excellent image quality. The laser beam discretely illuminates each point on the film, with over 90% of the transmitted light collected and measured. As a result, the resolution and densities in the digital image are representative of the original image, allowing you to visualize subtle, low-contrast abnormalities.
